THE LOTUS EFFECT
The inspiration is drawn from the lotus flower that symbolizes rising from a dark place into beauty and rebirth, as this is how a lotus exactly grows. Lotus grows directly out of muddy and murky waters and produce beautiful white blossoms. It is a symbol of strength among adversity. It is associated with purity, rebirth and divinity which has a calming effect when placed in the surroundings. Much of the beauty of this carpet design lies in using natural dye because of the slightly varying hues and shades obtained with indigo with its less impact on environment. The color blue indicates water and white lotus blossoming from it. The meditative and regenerating pattern of the design will bring peace and hope.
