Keil is a carpet that celebrates contemporaneity, not only in it's form but as in the language deeply rooted in the portuguese soul. It's a tribute to the idea and spirit of beign portuguese.
Inspired in the art of painted tiles, a deep influence from the arab heritage and that is today part of the portuguese entity. It brings together the tradition and modernism, like the ones we can founf in the works of the portuguese artist Maria Keil.

Keil é um tapete que celebra a contemporaneidade, não só na sua forma como na linguagem de um legado profundamente enraizado na alma portuguesa. É um tributo a uma ideia de portugalidade.

Later on I came to live to Coimbra, where I became an Interior Designer having an architecture degree as the foundation of my skills. My work is very visual and concept oriented. I like to combine my passion for contemporary art and aesthetics with references drawn of music, fashion, cinema and the city.
Nasci em Paris, desde cedo que demonstrei grande apetecência pela arte, fazendo dos museus da cidade a minha segunda casa.
Mais tarde venho viver para Coimbra, e torno-me Designer de Interiores tendo como base da minha formação a arquitectura. O meu trabalho, é muito visual e ancorado em conceitos. Gosto de combinar a minha paixão pela estética e arte contemporânea, explorando referências da música, da moda, do cinema e da cidade.
